In a bid to enhance service delivery in rural areas, the Mendi-Munihu District Development Authority is collaborating with mainline churches to roll out essential government services, including education and healthcare.

Preparations are ramping up in the Southern Highlands Province as Mendi gears up to host the 8th PNG Games in June.

Mendi- Munihu DDA spearheads water supply project. 

1. Nipa Admin: K200,000 for completing of school fencing and Double Classroom Construction

2. Nipa Secondary School: K250,000.00 for competion of fencing and maintenance of mess hall / kitchen

3. St Fidelis Catholic Primary School K100,000 for early childhood learning classroom and general maintenance.
