Telefomin DDA has taken a bold step to  improve law and order.

A reconciliation ceremony was held yesterday in Aitape yesterday to compensate for the loss of life of a Lovon Iad and destruction of vehicles on March 14th this year.

In a major move to address law and order challenges, the Telefomin DDA officially launched its Reservist Training Program

The Labor Mobility Unit program in Aitape's Paup vilae, West Sepk Province, is seeking funding to expand its sucessful initiative across Aitape-Lumi District.

Yifkindu Primary school was set up by villages without the help of government. 

Nuku DDA will buy 3 dump truck, a roller and grader to ensure new roads are built and existing's roads graveled and maintained. 

Amsuku Primary School in Aitape West LLG has opened a 2 in 1 double classroom that will now cater for its Upper Primary Classes. 

STUDENTS from Telefomin District now have the opportunity to study abroad in India at Parul University following the successful signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today in Port Moresby.
