Yangoru-Saussia Launches a Scholarship Scheme

Yangoru-Saussia District Development Authority (DDA) in East Sepik Province has set up a Credit Guarantee Scheme to assist village-based Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

MOA between the Women's Microbank and the Yangoru Saussia District Development Authority signed. 

Six Yangoru Saussia students are going to USA and India under scholarship to take up undergraduate studies. 

District can not   fund the extra costs of provincial roads. 

Maru said his district administration is doing all it can to support families who lost their houses due to a fight that broke out last week between two neighboring villages.

In conisistent with its policy, ' God first and education second' the Yangoru Saussia District Development Authorit(DDAP contineued to invest in edcation foinf into the 12th year. 

Market vendors in Yangoru Saussia and other part of East Sepik Province will have a 24 hr market facility, water, sanitation and banking services among others. 

Yangoru Saussia DDA and UN Women will work together to develop first modern 24 hour market. 

K2 million disaster relief package for East Sepik Provincial Government,  and K10 million breakdown for flooded districts and LLGs in East and West Sepik Provinces. 

K10 million for districts and LLGs in Sepik for disaster relief. 

East Sepik provincial government allocates K200 000 for each LLG. 

A new partnership was sealed between the people of Yangoru Saussia  East Sepik and people of Usino Bundi in Madang province. 

Yangoru Saussia DDA signs MoU with Water PNG ltd to deliver 3 major water projects within the district.
