The Kikori District Development Authority today held a consultative meeting with key district stakeholders to review the Kikori District 5 Year Development Plan 2018-2022 and chart the course for the next 5 years (2023-2027).
As a follow up from the Kikori District Development Authority (KDDA) Boards approval of K500,000 for school fees subsidies last year an additional K51,817.00 was approved by the Board on Wednesday, 12th of April , 2023 to cater for additional student applications in need of school fees assistance for skills - based training.
The Kikori District Development Authority (KDDA) Board in its first meeting of the year held in April this year, approved two (2) important reviews to be undertaken in the district immediately:
i) Review of the implementation of major KDDA projects in the District, and
ii)Review of the 2018 – 2022 Kikori Districts 5 Year Development Plan (5YDDP) and formulation of the new 2023 – 2027 5YDDP.
