Talasea District's SME roll out program continues to support the Small Business Enterprises (SMEs) in the rural area

Talasea has seen a sea   of change since August 2022. 

Talasea DDA facilitates the celebration of K20,000 of the Holy Euchrist mass visitation.

The new vessel which is intended for Bali & Vitu island LLG of West New Britain is anticipated to arrive in Kimbe this week. 

The people of Ward 5 in the Talasea LLG of the Talasea District in West New Britain province recently on Monday the 20th of May 2024 celebrated the opening of a new double classroom, which was constructed at a cost of K100,000.00. 

The Talasea Open Member Hon. Freddie Reu Kumai and his District Development Authority board are embracing the national government's education policy through its aligned District Integrated Development Five-years Plan under the education sector program.

 Waganakai Primary School, established in 1976, officially opened their new double classroom today.

The mothers and youths from the Morokea and Ruango villages within the Talasea district received their first financial support from the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) rollout program of the Talasea District recently on the 21st of May 2024.

Talasea DDA presented a total of K182,000 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) support  grants to 35 groups during the official commissioning of the Malalawara Ward 3 Market in the Kimbe Urban LLG, WNB.
