The Board of the Talasea District Development Authority has announced its plans to establish police sectors and recruit police reservists in 2024 as part of its Law and Order program.

Talasea DDA board approve 2024 budget totalling K60 million. 

Talasea District DDA passed 2024 budget of K51, 011,759 and overall Talasea District Government Budget of K60, 739,589. 

The new partnership between Talasea DDA and PNG Power Ltd will see PNG Power engaged with Voltron Engineering Ltd. in the second phase of the rural electrification program.

The construction of the new Komovavo Primary School building located at Ward Eight of Talasea LLG is making impressive progress, and it is expected to be completed very soon. The funding for this building was made possible through the DSIP at the cost of K150,000.

A double classroom has been built in the Maritime village of Ward 9 under the Talasea LLG through the Infrastructure Development grants at a cost of K100,000.
