New road access helping farmers to the market
The Birip-Lukitap Road Project, built by the Wabag District Development Authority (WDDA), has now enabled women farmers in Aiyel Valley of both the Wabag and Wapenamanda Districts to bring their fresh produce to local markets and sell for a steady income.
The Wabag-Aipinimanda road project is the second road project that will be sealed after the Birip-Lukitap road which connects Aiyel Valley in the Wapenamanda District into Wabag District.
The Wabag District Coffee Cooperative Sociey in Enga Province started planting coffee seedlings in 2023 that have now matured and are ready for harvesting. The project was supported by Wabag District Development Authority
